Abortion: What if women decided?

What if the matter were entirely decided by women?

In other words, what if men were excluded from the whole abortion debate, as well as from any involvement in the legal decision process?

Would that change anything? What?
Would it improve or degrade the value of the outcome?

Not being a woman, and also not at all able to fathom the female psyche, I wouldn't even venture a guess.

I ....imagine that abortion would be more common. Its easier to condemn something that you never truly have to deal with.

Hm. I am a woman (ha.. I think of myself as a girl, still) and I've never thought what I'd do if, say I was raped and got pregnant. For sure I dont think the rapist would have any say in what happened with the baby, and I wonder how a baby would be that was concieved violently, but I do not think I could get an abortion. I don't know though.
